Unicorns - The 2012 Season

Following a series of successful regional trials, the 2012 squad has now been selected; but it should be known that the door is never closed, should other worthy candidates present themselves.

This year’s draw sees us playing Derbyshire, Kent and Yorkshire for the first time, these, together with Sussex, replace Somerset, Glamorgan , Lancashire and Essex in our Group.

Wormsley remains the focus for our pre-season practice and again we are fortunate to be playing three of our home matches at this delightful venue with Southend and Scarborough hosting the others.

The ‘Fixture’ section details both Unicorns and Unicorns ‘A’ matches and the squad appears in the ‘News’ section .

Tickets for the Wormsley matches can be purchased from the Ticket Factory, accessible from the Wormsley website, whilst arrangements for the Southend and Scarborough games will be advised shortly. We can also look forward to visiting Canterbury, Hove and Chesterfield.

Keith Parsons, once again, will Captain the side, whilst Phil Oliver and Steve Perryman shoulder the coaching responsibilities.

All are looking forward to what promises to be a busy and interesting season, with we hope, a surprise or two in store.
